Courthouse gold burglary: Alarm was last tested in August
Officials still have not discovered the reason that the Diebold alarm in the courthouse gold display case did not activate during the Wednesday burglary, said Siskiyou County Treasurer-Tax Collector Wayne Hammer, who is responsible for the gold security.
